LVIV: REFLECTIONS ON LIFE
Faces at the window
Photographed in Lviv, Ukraine, in 2010, Reflections on Life catches tram passengers at the moment of departure. Faces merge with reflections of buildings, posters and passing streets, turning an ordinary journey into layered portraits of people and their city. Made without flash, the photographs hold quiet moments of thought and connection. Looking back at them after Russia’s invasion, I find myself wondering what became of the strangers behind the glass.
